The Training Division

The training division is working to keep the classic and pure stream of our culture, to develop different branches of the culture and to create new artists. It has developed a four year syllabus for institutional training for vocal, dance, instrumental, recitation, and fine arts in 56 districts in the country.

Apart from these, the training division provides higher training for the trainers on various issues to upgrade the performance.

The trainees, the trainers and artists have acquired quality to compete in national level competition on various topics. Some good trainers have been developed. They participate in radio, television and other cultural media as good quality artists, and earning money as trainers in many cultural organizations. Thus the Shilpakala Academy is contributing in poverty alleviation by providing job to the jobless.
